Our farm is situated nearby Lake Taupo in the great lakes region of New Zealand’s famous volcanic Central Plateau.
The region is renowned for its unique and picturesque scenery and vistas – Lake Taupo is the largest freshwater lake in New Zealand (roughly the size of Singapore) and is surrounded by lush green pastures, beautiful forests, volcanic mountains and snowy peaks in the wintertime.
North facing, plentiful sunshine and good rainfall means bountiful, pure fresh water and an abundance of grass. Our lush pastures are rich in red and white clover (a key ingredient in raising healthy milking sheep) which means that our grass-fed sheep are healthy, happy and live in a natural environment.

Our farm utilizes state-of-the-art technology to help ensure the highest quality milk.
Allowing milk to slosh around in tanks or firing it down highly agitating pipe systems can irreparably damage the structure of the milk. We use modern world class low agitation systems, designed to reduce ‘bruising’ and protect quality every step of the way.
Keeping milk really cold is another important way to ensure quality. We go out of our way to ensure our milk is held at less than 2 degrees Celsius well ahead of some industry standards for food safety and quality.
For each milking ewe, we know exactly how much protein and fat she is producing as well as overall volumes and can monitor trends over time. This information allows us to carefully monitor the health and happiness of every one of our precious animals and ensure our milk is always the highest possible quality.
